Toshiba UK announces the launch of it new Journe range of Digital Imaging products, designed to help consumers make the most of their pictures. The new range comprises two new Wi-Fi digital photoframes and a portable photo scanner for converting print images to digital.
The new Journe Air 801 and Journe Air 1000 digital photoframes both include integrated Wi-Fi modules which give direct, easy connections to RSS feeds or to Flickr® and Picasa® albums, allowing users to change and display pictures from large internet-based collections without having to load them directly onto the device. The Journe Air 1000 also features a remote control and the ability to receive SHOUTCAST internet radio, while the Journe Air 801 comes with a Sub-View mode which allows the frame to be used as an extended surface on computer desktops - ideal for running IM or video content without cluttering the main screen.
The perfect accompaniment to the Journe photoframes is the Journe Scan – a portable scanner which can digitalise print pictures, helping to bring them to life and keep safe from degradation. Just 17cm in length and weighing only 170g, the lightweight scanner captures images in JPEG format to display directly on a digital photoframe or to store on a computer or storage device for safe keeping or photo editing.
Journe Air 1000 Digital Photoframe
The Journe Air 1000 features a crisp 10” 16:9 LED backlit LCD TFT screen which displays crystal clear images. It also includes 1GB of integrated Flash Memory, along with the capacity to support SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro and XD memory cards to expand storage space. The light and tilt sensors give increased flexibility in how and where the frame can be used, whilst the gloss black finish gives it a stylish look perfect for the modern home environment.
The integrated speaker, audio playback feature, remote control, IP radio, calendar, clock and alarm ensures its position at the top of the Journe range - making it more than just a digital photoframe and a great accompaniment to the home office, bedroom or kitchen.

Journe Air 801 Digital Photoframe
The elegance of the Air 801 model, with its gloss black and silver trim finish, makes it a great accompaniment to any living room, no matter what the décor. The 50 minute battery life also allows the digital frame to be transported away from its usual home in order to share images with friends and family without the need to connect to a power cable. It also includes 128MB of integrated Flash Memory, along with the capacity to support SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro and XD memory cards to expand space.
Like the Air 1000 it also includes a light & tilt sensor, integrated speakers, an alarm, clock and calendar. In addition it includes full touch sensor controls and Sub-View and 3D Album modes. Sub-View allows the Air 801 to interact with computers virtually by extending the surface of desktops, while the 3D Album mode allows users to blend images with sound and virtual animation creating a fun new experience with pictures.

Journe Scan
The Journe Scan brings old print images (up to A6 / 4” x 6” size) back to life by capturing them digitally. As small as a TV remote and weighing in at a mere 170g, the Journe Scan is easy to store and transport and makes a great accompaniment to the new Journe Wi-Fi frames as well as other high quality Toshiba digital photoframes. The scanner even enhances print images by improving colours and picture quality to a resolution of 1800 x 1200 (for 4” x 6” photos).
