Once the laptop is located, your IT department or security provider can remotely send commands to delete data and folders or shut down and lock the computer so it’s unable to restart. Stored on the chipset memory, Intel® Anti-Theft technology continues to protect the laptop - even if the hard disk drive is replaced.
No system can provide absolute security under all conditions. Requires an enabled chipset, BIOS, firmware and software, and a subscription with a capable service provider.
