A Portable IT Team: Intel® Active Management Technology

You need a laptop that can perform and be completely dedicated to completing tasks, which is why we’ve added Intel® Active Management Technology to selected laptops. This software gives IT teams direct access to the fleet’s laptops, wherever you are, so they can maintain your system remotely. With this remote access, both you and your IT team can keep on working, and software updates for service packs and applications can be made at your convenience – even when your laptop is switched off.

How it works

A set of Intel® Active Management Technology compatible components within the laptop allows IT teams to maintain systems remotely. Remote troubleshooting, updating and proactive alerting allows IT teams to quickly search and prevent any system issues.

Docked and Ready to Work: Port Replicator (sold separately)

If your laptop doubles as your main office PC, you won’t want to lose precious time re-connecting devices each time you return to your desk. With Toshiba Port Replicators, you can dock your laptop with a single click and be instantly connected to a wide range of devices, such as external screens, back-up HDDs as well as your power supply and the office network.

USB Power: Dynadock USB Port Replicator (sold separately)

Need a fast and easy way to connect your external monitor or other devices but don’t want multiple cables cluttering your desk? Connect all of your devices to a Dynadock USB Port Replicator, and with a single USB port you can connect your laptop to many of your external peripheral devices at once. You can remove and re-connect as you wish, allowing you to work with more flexibility and fewer wires.

With that in mind, we developed Toshiba Eco Utility, an innovative software that displays your current energy consumption and gives you the option to reduce your power consumption and conserve energy. Simply switch to Eco mode, and, with a dedicated display and graph, you can see exactly how much power you’re saving by simply pushing a button (on select models only).

How it works

When you’re using Toshiba Eco Utility software and you select Eco mode, you instantly begin to save power. Your laptop’s power consumption data is fed directly to the Eco Utility software, which highlights exactly where you are saving power – using a historical graph to chart exactly how many watts have been saved.
